Every year, Transcona Biz hosts a Market Garden and Crafters/Flea Market. At this event, which has become a community-favourite, local producers sell crunchy cucumbers,juicy corn on the cob, sweet tomatoes, fresh fragrant dill and many more summer time treats*. Talented crafters also bring a medley of unique and interesting handicrafts and many great bargains are available from Transcona flea marketers.

Transcona’s vibrant community spirit is visible as lines begin forming before opening time and members of the community chat together as they peruse the selection of fresh veggies. New faces to Transcona are welcomed to the community and existing community ties are renewed. Visitors from other areas of the city also get a taste of Transcona’s rich community life.

The Market Garden and Crafters/Flea Market is run every year beginning in the end of July or early August, weather pending.
